Vene and Motion
Checked 18 October 2026
Motion and Vene both put your tasks on the calendar for you. Motion re-plans your day on its own whenever anything changes. Vene plans a day with an end to it, puts the work before that end, and leaves the evening for you. If you want the most out of every open hour, Motion is built for that. If the hard part is knowing when you are allowed to stop, that is what Vene is for.

Motion has phone apps and Vene does not. Vene is a Mac app. If you plan from your phone, or you run a team's work, Motion is the better fit. If you plan at a Mac and your evenings keep disappearing, try Vene.
Vene is free while it is in beta and $108 a year once it launches, with a 14 day free trial and nothing to pay for anyone in education. Motion's Pro AI plan is $19 a month per person and Business AI is $29. Paying yearly takes about a third off either one.
